Getting a useful resized image
Width and height are independent controls, so enter dimensions with the same proportion as the source if you want to avoid stretching. For example, halving both values keeps the original shape. The tool does not provide an aspect-ratio lock, so check the resized preview before downloading.
Higher resampling levels favor cleaner detail; lower levels favor smaller JPEG and WEBP files. PNG output remains lossless but lower settings can simplify its colors. Resizing cannot restore detail that is missing from a small or heavily compressed original, and large upscales may look blurred or blocky.
