Standard PDF Password
Add one password that is required before the PDF opens. Anyone with this password can open or remove protection using compatible PDF software.
Create a strong password people must enter before the PDF opens.
Use a long, unique password. A passphrase of 14 or more characters is a good starting point.
Awaiting upload
The open password must be 10–128 characters and the confirmation must match. Keep the password somewhere safe: forgotten passwords cannot be recovered here.
